Also called One Oxcart Wide Canyon. The road west from
Walnut Creek eventually connects to Box Canyon and exits
on US 60.
@NC: Nogal Canyon
From I-25 San Antonio exit S, take the dirt road that
goes SW from the ramp before it goes under the freeway,
take the left (less-used) fork right away, go a little
ways to the next fork, and turn right. This track goes
west through the middle of the Chupaderas, down a
creekbed between vertical cliffs and narrow canyons.
Warning: sandy bottom; 4WD and/or high-clearance vehicles
only.
@WC: Walnut Creek
West of the Chupaderas there is a ranch near a large
spring.
