1515, reached my favorite "thinking rock" just above the second stream crossing.
1620, back to the car.
One Pronghorn near Water Canyon, eight more on the flats north of US-60 and above Sedillo Hill. North Fork, water running briskly.

Description: White chin, red throat, black chest, pink nape patch.

Flanking the Water Canyon Road outside the canyon mouth.
Description: Complete black masks; modest bill hook.

Vocalizations: Low croaks heard overhead.

Behavior: Responded to my Screech Owl imitation.

Description: One of them threw me due to contrast between the black line through the eye contrasting with a rusty superciliary, but the face between them, immediately above the eye, was gray, not white, therefore not a Chipping Sparrow.
