The road into Water Canyon was unproductive today. Both sides are pretty barren from overgrazing.
1240, Water Canyon Road.
1250, Water Canyon proper, park and walk around.
1420, walk up the North Fork road.
1525-1550, drive out.

Cold and wet and foggy in the morning, the first photo seems to convey a rather disgusted mood. The second photo may be a different individual but looks very similar.

It takes careful timing to capture the action shown in the second photo. As a longtime raptor photographer, this is one of the standard clues that the subject is about to take off.
