At the south center of the Marsh Loop, turn left to go north along the old tour loop. Just past Audio Stop 8 there is a flooded unit labeled with the sign "29". The bird was in this unit, near the road.
Behavior: Diving, underwater more than not.

Breeding: One bird was sitting tight on the more recent of the two nests in the cholla right by my driveway (used in 2010), while the other sang nearby.
