Shipman's ergonomics books and links
I'm not a professional ergonomist; these are just some very
basic references on the subject. Books:
- Norman, Donald A. The design of everyday things.
Currency/Doubleday, 1990, ISBN 0385267746. The best single
book on design I've seen.
- Borenstein, Nathaniel S. Programming As If People Mattered.
Princeton, ISBN 0691037639. Some terrific bad examples of
user interface design, and a few good ones.
