6.9. The general (G) new-band record

An alternate representation for new-band records has this format: 

Gsssdnnnnn...

The letter “G” signifies that the full nine-digit band number follows. The format of the rest of the line is described in Section 6.13, “The encounter body section”. The encounter code will be changed to N in the output record.
