At present, guaranteed perpetual low enrollment (~4 BMS bioinformatics
majors)
Option 1: grow CSE 117 enrollment by adding a BA in IT and/or a minor
in IT. BA in IT that uses it would require further tweaking of
prerequisites and/or other alternative courses
Option 2: eliminate 117 in favor of 307

Peer Mentor Classroom Feedback
Anyone, but especially instructors and junior faculty, should feel
welcome to invite anyone, but especially senior faculty including myself,
into you classroom this semester one or more times for the purpose of
obtaining feedback from a peer or a mentor on what you are doing well,
and what needs improvement.
Ideal pairings would be: faculty who are going to teach the next
class right after you, or faculty who are teaching the class that feeds
into your class. We want to strengthen these connections between courses
and reduce the seams and gaps between them.
I would like everyone to do (at least) one, but it is up to you
whether you are willing to participate.
