End of Semester Party - there was some discussion of the date but most did not vote. There has been ongoing discussion of how to pay for it and I am not happy with my options.

CSE Assessment meetings are making progress

The State common numbering system CSE catalog changes are making progress

CHIPS for America Act (CAHSI update)

Department of Commerce wants to spend some money on non-R1 HSI institutions. May come quickly, requiring quick response.

1. AI - Son, Emmett lead, plenty of expertise
2. Materials Science - semiconductors, NMSU, Texas State, Merced
3. Automated experimentation/manufacturing, unclear, no leads
4. Workforce, 2-year institutions, Austin CC, Maricopa CC, maybe 1 more

• CAHSI wants us to connect relevant folks to the leads.
• CAHSI wants a dean or higher to be involved.
