Research @ Tech Day Monday Feb.

Probably small, but new AVP Brandon seems good and is working on it.

Equipment

"$40K to upgrade GPU server capabilities. $20K to upgrade sensor network lab capabilities." turned into $56K for a new GPU server, plus a couple nice laptops for the sensor network lab. But now: L40S vs. H100.

Grad Applicants on Slate

16 in Faculty Review at present, 9?PhD and 7?MS. Jun has voted on a couple but otherwise they are blank. Please review your share, say 6 or so if you can. Ideally I would like 2+ votes on each. In practice I have ended up making some decisions unilaterally and others with just one vote, usually Jun's.

PAR meetings

You should be able to see Free times on my NMT google calendar. Please suggest either a zoom PAR Monday or Friday or an in person PAR Tue/Wed/Thur. FYI Tue AM I'm mostly driving to Socorro from LC; Thu later PM driving to LC.
