• The advisory board is now talking about meeting quarterly, for shorter meetings.

  1. They wondered whether faculty would like to meet and discuss Research during the summer. 3 months from April would be July. If not July, I think they would settle for sometime in Fall.

CLASS wants to do a BA in UX/UI

Normally user interfaces span between psychology and CS. Who all would be interested in discussions with Taylor Dotson?

IT Assessment

We need at least one graded homework or exam problem from the following courses to assess the 8 outcomes. MGT faculty provide 2, CLASS 1, and CS 5 -- from IT 321, 326, and 481/482. I am leaning on 326 here. For the prior 3 years ASAP, and for this year, within two weeks of end of semester.

Ph.D Course Requirements

Online vote for revised language (allowing some coursework to transfer, and saying tests are in the 1st week of class) passed. It was presented in the Grad Council meeting 4/13/21, where it passed. We still need to modernize our PhD core courses.

326 as a prerequisite for 382

Proposed: change prequisite from 326 to "Senior standing in CS". Senior standing in CS to be defined.
