Description from Mike Way: They were seen near Tellbrook Park in the Las Alturas area of the circle (se area of circle). Many of us have seen these Harris's Hawks consistently over the last three years in the same area. They seem to be a "permanent fixture" to the neighborhood now. Obviously, their family/group has grown from 1 to 5 in the last 3 years. I lead a beginner bird walk at Tellbrook Park (adjacent to and within their roaming range locally) once a month. We consistently spot at least three of the Harris's Hawks. Dark brownish/blackish plumage throughout, reddish/rufous wing patch, and white undertail coverts and white band across end of tail.
